Platform Doors - North South & East West lines

The platform screen doors of the North South and East West lines of the Singapore MRT are the first of their kind in the world. Prior to their implementation, the closest a metro system had were platform steel doors in the Saintt Petersburg Metro of Russia.

I drew these platform doors on Inkscape about a year ago. There are no difference between each image except the signboards depicting the station.

The lamps are usually installed above the doors, hence the white faded effect emitting down the doors. It illuminates the signboards for them to be easily seen. The light notification system is also drawn above the doors for added realism. The gradient effect is meant to resemble the reflection of the bronze-like doors.

I shall be releasing the platform doors of the North East, Circle and Downtown lines in future. They are significantly different and their depiction shall prove interesting. They are actually essentially complete but I wish to modify them to correct some errors.
